Tina Fu - Little Miss Sunshine

Originally from Taiwan, Tina works in our Production team as one of our engravers, where she spends her days operating machinery capable of permanently destroying expensive awards with one incorrect keystroke.

Naturally, she's always smiling.

Now, we're a pretty happy bunch at Awards & Trophies.  People generally enjoy coming to work, everyone gets along and there's usually plenty of laughter around the place.

And then there's Tina.  Tina operates at a completely different level of happiness.

She's permanently cheerful, endlessly positive and never seems to have a bad word to say about anyone.  We've seen her during busy periods, on Monday mornings when we've run out of coffee and even when something hasn't gone quite to plan - still smiling.

At this point we're not entirely convinced it's natural.  Scientists have spent decades studying the secrets of human happiness when apparently they could have just come down to our engraving department and asked Tina.

Away from work, Tina loves exploring. She's taken it upon herself to see as much of Australia as possible, using her holidays to venture further afield and her weekends to explore Brisbane and surrounds.  If there's somewhere she hasn't been yet, chances are it's already on the list.

When she's actually at home, Tina enjoys knitting and spending time with the other great love of her life, her little sausage dog, Nicole.  Nicole enjoys the privileged existence you'd expect of a dachshund: minimal ground clearance, maximum personality and absolutely no awareness that she is, technically, a dog.

Between Tina's knitting and Nicole's unusual proportions, we're expecting the world's longest and narrowest dog jumper any day now.
