Yui Pochanasomburana - Yui-kulele

Originally from Thailand, Yui is one of the quieter members of our team. Polite, softly spoken and generally happy to go about her day without making too much fuss.

Don't be fooled.

Behind the quiet exterior is a woman who has apparently spent her entire life secretly acquiring skills.

Painting, drawing, photography, guitar, ukulele, piano, kalimba, kayaking and swimming all make the list. Most people get to the end of a working week and manage Netflix and a takeaway. Yui somehow finds time to maintain the skill set of an entire performing arts department.

Music is a particular passion. Yui plays guitar, piano, ukulele and kalimba — meaning that despite being one of the quietest people in the building, she is technically capable of making more noise than the rest of us combined.

Fortunately, she chooses not to.

When she's not creating art or quietly mastering another musical instrument, Yui loves the beach. Swimming, kayaking, sunshine and good food make up her perfect day — although knowing Yui, she'd probably squeeze in some photography, a quick painting and a ukulele solo before lunch.
